If it’s June, I am here. Where am I? Here are a few clues.
After dinner around 7:00 PM I stand in line at Graeter’s for ice cream. Next to Blue Bell from bluebonnet country it’s among the best.
The Purple People Bridge, a pedestrian bridge, links two cities and two states.
The Freedom Center, a museum of the Underground Railroad is fascinating. Each time I return I make another visit to absorb more. The docents are wonderful storytellers.
The ball park is down the street from the hotel.
You haven’t lived until you dine out in the Radisson’s revolving restaurant during a thunderstorm. I can hear my father’s words “It was designed for this.” When there’s a rainstorm, there are always thunderclaps and lightening.
So, where I am?
Chicago, right?! Or was it Cincinnati?!?! LOL My mind is shot any more – know you’re somewhere up north scoring for 10 days & I miss you!! XO
And I know you are somewhere too, my dear. Thank you for checking in on my whereabouts. I’ll reveal it soon. Promise. We will have lunch when I’m back.
Cincinnati, Ohio and Newport, Kentucky
And where are you, John? Guadalajara? I will reveal soon. Do you know Cincinnati?
I know I know! (I’d know even if you hadn’t told me before 🙂 ) I drove by the ball park and the Freedom Center every week when I was going to teach in Kentucky. And Graeter’s … oh my! YUM!
Cool Malinda. So you know this city well. I’m here scoring Spanish Language and guess what…Music Theory is right next door! Thank you for stopping by to read and comment.
You are in Cincinnati. (Thanks, Google!) Though regardless of where you are located, I hope you are having a wonderful time. And, I am happy to hear ice cream was on the list of things to enjoy. I like your taste. ~ Lenore
You wouldn’t believe the Graeter’s raspberry chocolate chip…to die for and not in cups, a larger size. Thank you coming by and participating in my Google scavenger hunt!
None of the clues helped me, might have to ask my friend Google.
LOL…I debated giving the real names of the sites…but by all means, do you use your Googli friend. : )

Oh my thank you for this special recognition. Of course this happens away from my chair that swivels and rocks. I hope I do this justice on a laptop using hotel wi-fi that kicks me offline on occasion. There is no place like home. : ) Truly, this was a huge surprise Miss Jean!!!
My comment was going to be: “somewhere I’ve never been”. BUT, when I read the answer is Cincinnati, I can’t say that. I HAVE been there, but not to any of the places you mentioned!
So cute of you to say that because, yes, I am in Cincinnati. So much to see and do in this Ohio River Valley. Thank you again for dropping in and commenting. I’ll be right over to your blog in a few moments to catch perhaps a sunset at sundown.
When I saw Blue Bell I figured you were farther South.
We’re in Houston, an hour and a half from Brenham where the Blue Bell creamery is located. There’s one in Gadsden, Alabama, also.
Enjoy Cincinnati! Have a great time!
Thank you for visiting and commenting. Graeter’s raspberry chocolate chip, then off to the Freedom Center!
Hope you enjoyed our trip to our city. Graeter’s is simply awesome. Next time here, Skyline Chili for lunch, then the short walk to Graeter’s for mint chocolate chip. Oh the thought of the combo is heavenly.
Just got back yesterday. Loved it again. My ole college friend and I met our date again with the Radisson’s revolving restaurant. Love it up there way up high getting a 360 sometimes 720 view. Thank you for stopping by to read and comment.
PS: For your next trip. http://afrankangle.wordpress.com/2011/06/15/on-two-bookends/
I’ll be there soon. Thank you for stopping by.
I got no clue but the place sounds vibrant, exciting and beautiful. I’ll just wait for the announcement. I’m glad that you share your travels to us. We got to see those places through you.
I was in Cincinnati in June.
Thanks for leading me to this post…so cool!
I do want to check out Ludlow wines.
