Well…Andy arrived the first week of March and we have been filling his TX passport nicely. First, Houston, then Dallas and finally the farm. Thank you LD for entrusting your little friendly guy with us. Do get in touch with Lenore Diane’s Thoughts Exactly here, http://lenorediane.com/2012/03/15/andy-armadillo-a-texan-tale/ to show this photogenic guy around.
When we last talked about Andy, he traveled to Florida to spend time with his Aunt K8. Now, we are turning our attention to the Lone Star State andMs. Georgette Sullins, hostess extraordinaire.
From a chair that swivels and rocks, Georgette shares wonderful stories of her family, past and present. The adventures her grandparents, cousins, parents, etc. experienced are beautifully told by Georgette. I am amazed at the history of her family, and I am certain she’ll share her rich family history with Andy. Something tells me, she’ll enlighten Andy to his own history, too.
Andy’s time in Texas will be told throughout the month. Once he departs Texas, he is heading overseas to New Zealand. Let me know if you are interested in showing Andy around your area of town. In the meantime, please enjoy the tale this week.

Fun! We did that with my nephew’s Flat Stanley. (Only my nephew named his Flat Ramone….?)
My daughter in Dallas just told me about Flat Stanley and now you bring him up, too. Andy is very 3 dimensional, has the brightest eyes and a most beautiful eager smile…ready for anything. Contact LD to introduce him to your amazing sun ups and sunsets, Sundae, MM, M, groom swan and bride swan. Imagine him arriving from New Zealand and taking him to Newport News…such a traveler.
You’re the hostess with the mostess, Georgette!
awww…gee, thanks. Contact LD to show him your neck of the woods.
i bet he was happy to be in texas with you!
I think his big TX grin says it. Don’t you think?
Too cute … know you’re taking good care of him!
haha…you’ll have to meet him. Soooo busy next week, maybe after March 28? Thank you for reading about our “not so flat Andy”.
I think this is cool. Keep sharing Andy.
Maybe you can sign up for him during hunting season…post a sign on your property…Beware no trespassing, patrolling armadillo. Just don’t show his picture…his grin wouldn’t scare anybody.
Okay, I was lost at first when I read this, so I had to do some back reading. What a great idea. Especially for an armadillo. What a good time y’all had. I’m trying to figure out how to bubble wrap and mail myself to you. You’re a fun gal Gerogette.
What? I got you lost? I’m flattered. It’s usually me who has to go back and reread your posts. Contact Lenore Diane if you would like to give Andy a tour of Two Pan or introduce him to your snowman. After TX, he’s off to NZ.
What I would love to do is go to Jerry Jeff Walker’s Texas Bash concert on March 31, then attend the after concert party at the Driskill hotel to introduce JJW to Andy or vice versy. Wouldn’t that be a coup? Vamos a ver…we’ll see.
My daughter received “Flat Stanley” for a visit, too. That is such a great idea. I like following Andy’s adventures.
Stay tuned. 🙂 There will be another post on Thursday sharing his adventures in and around Dallas. It will be sad to send him off at the end of March, but who knows what awaits him in New Zealand?!
