“Last August you posted that you had never been to Wapakoneta,” college friend told me as we drove north. “Well, I think it’s time to make our first stop.” The long sidewalk leading into the dome of the museum grew shorter with each step as we got closer and closer to the entrance leading me to familiar memories of space capsules, rockets, space suits, photos and writings of members of that team that made the moon landing possible. The dome suggested I too, could touch the moon, walk on it vicariously, experience the journey.

Team members form bonds they instantly recognize in each other. And so it is with blogging…I feel I can almost touch another world, walk amongst the community members, experience their journey. It took a long time for me to make it to Wapakoneta for real. I had passed the road sign, learned the name Wa-pa-ko-ne-ta and hadn’t confused the syllables.

Congratulations to Dor at Virginia Views who was recently awarded the Team Member Readership Award. I thank her for thinking to pass it along to me. There are rules and they are as follows:

The Nominee shall display the logo on his/her blog.
The Nominee shall nominate 14 readers they appreciate over a period of 7 days, all at once or little by little.
The Nominee shall name his/her Wonderful Team Member Readership Award nominees on a post or on posts during 7 days.

I have noticed something in this blogging journey. Many of my blogging team seems to live in VA. I would like to give a nod to all those VA team members who have visited my blog, liked, commented and shared their view.
