Thank you, Theresa for hosting.

My husband got a new camera with stabilizer and double the magnification of his old camera. I’m looking forward to using it too, especially next summer. Maybe I can finally capture some hummingbirds from the feeder.

He generously shared some of his photos with me. Here are some views along the fence line with a neighboring pasture. Click on any photo for greater clarity.

The mourning doves are common throughout Texas with a large concentration in farm and ranch country. Notice the pointed tail. The mockingbird is our Texas state bird. I could use some help in identifying the hawk. I used google but still can’t identify the hawk with certainty. I’ll report back to my husband anything I learn from you all. Feel free to correct me on the mourning doves…one is noticeably bigger than the other.
